Orlando, My Political Biography
poster for Paul Preciado’s 2023 documentary, 2024Focusing on the ruffled collar that appears throughout the film and connects all the Orlando characters together - turning the shape into a title treatment that adorns the Orlando of the artwork.
The multiple hands are a way of translating the process of transition and the idea of a built identity, facilitated by the larger trans community and the sharing of knowledge, experiences or hormones.
The artwork also features a copy of Orlando by Virginia Woolf, as a nod to the genesis of the film and its literary characteristics.
