Untitled

as a response to the brief “represent a colour in black and white” i worked on kintsugi, an ancient japanese craft of repairing broken pottery with gold more than an aesthetic, it is a philosophy: breakage and repair are part of the history of an object, a new life cycle, rather than something to disguise.

having myself a scar on the back, i decided to paint it and take pictures of it. as a final touch, i chose to present the image printed on a plate
