Rietveld home assignment

i was ask to create an object with materials linked to my neighbourhood. i crafted a giant dildo as a reference to Pigalle,
the Parisian red light district. beyond the adult shows and naked ladies, targeted to the male gaze, the sex shops
themselves actually sell toys focusing on the female pleasure. the pictures are of me, holding it like a loved one.
it is a work about taboo and female emancipation through masturbation and self-care. the toy is recovered with marabouts
leaflets distributed around the poor districts of the city. they offer you happiness, marriage, wealth, etc. the toy becomes
a magic wand. it also works as a rain stick as it is filled with chick peas and creates a really soothing sound.
